In 2023 Blain visited Japan, a location that had long inspired the artist. A pilgrimage of sorts unfolded, as she journeyed into the land of the rising sun. From Mount Fuji, to the mountains of Koyasan.. Blain reflected on the spiritual undercurrent of the country.
